Last week one of our listeners asked about any tips that we may have to deal with our body image, not feeling good about how we look and how this can affect our participation in exercise and life in general.

Eric and I feel that this is a huge issue and something that is so important for overall enjoyment of life. In this episode we discuss some of our own personal experiences and give insight into the tools that we used to help overcome these common and often painful experiences.

Dr. Erin Boynton, MD, FRCS is an orthopedic surgeon who was the team surgeon for the Toronto Blue Jays for 10 years and has worked with other professional teams and athletes from many different sports. She currently serves as the Chief Medical Director of the Rogers Cup WTA Tennis Tournament and is the ITF Canadian Champion in tennis for her age group (we won't say which group that is!).
