Mission Statement

Our Mission, Philosophy and Promises to You

By Coach E

Eric Wong here, founder of Precision Movement and I’d like to welcome you to the site.

Precision Movement is the natural evolution of a long journey that began even before I started publishing fitness content online in 2006…

It was the early 90’s… in the glory days of grunge when Nirvana and Pearl Jam dominated the airwaves and people (including myself) began to discover real hip hop.

This journey began when I was in high school and I’d just had serious back surgery that left me with a 6-inch scar and years of pain and movement limitations.

Feel free to read more about this story here and how it has shaped my life and influenced the Precision Movement approach.

On this page, you’ll learn about our mission, philosophy and promises to you.

Our Mission

In short, Precision Movement is here to help you eliminate pain and flexibility or movement restrictions so you can get the most out of LIFE.

Get out of pain.

Improve flexibility and movement.

That’s what we’re focused on and what we do best.

We exist for people who love to MOVE, challenge their bodies and explore what they’re capable of.

If you’re a couch potato or you’re the type looking for the magic pill to give you six-pack abs, you’re in the wrong place.

But if you love pushing yourself whether it's in the gym, dojo, on the field, or in the great outdoors WELCOME FRIEND! Because our goal is to be your top resource when a nagging pain crops up, if you hurt yourself in training and want the quickest path back or if you discover your body isn’t able to do something you want it to do.

Our “5P” Philosophy

We love alliteration because in our old age it helps us remember important concepts and luckily for us it perfectly suits our philosophy and approach.

As such, our philosophy includes 5 critical components that all begin with the letter "P":

The Precision Movement
"5P" Philosophy

PAIN-FREE MOVEMENT: we believe every body deserves to move without pain and is capable of this given the correct info, strategies and programs

PERSONALIZATION: we believe every body is unique and thrives on personalized prescriptions instead of a “one-size fits all” approach

PROGRESSIVE: we believe it’s through constantly challenging ourselves to improve that reveals both our limitations and the path to growth

PURPOSE: there are 2 “why’s” – the first is the WHY behind our techniques and programs because we believe education and understanding lead to better application; the second is why you’re doing it all in the first place because we believe when you have a strong why you’ll always have motivation to persevere when the going gets tough

PRECISION: we believe in precise technique, precise programming and precise language because people are busier than ever and being precise is being efficient so you do exactly what you need to reach your goals

Whether you’re 36 or 63, if you have the desire and belief it’s possible to feel and move better tomorrow than you do today, we’ll do our best to help you get there.

This is our code of conduct and we’ve put it out there because we know it’ll resonate with the right people that we want on our team.

Our Promises to You

If you choose to hang out here with us, here’s what you can expect:

  1. 1-2 new pieces of content per week that will help you eliminate pain, increase flexibility and/or fix movement dysfunctions
  2. Videos produced with high quality audio and video and precise instructions
  3. If we recommend something it's because we truly believe in it and use it ourselves or would recommend it to our loved ones – we'll NEVER recommend something just to make a quick buck
  4. PROfessional support to all of our customers handled by coaches trained in the PMc methods
  5. Premium Programs that are consistently updated and improved with both feedback from customers and our continued research and experimentation

In Closing

This is what we’re all about here at Precision Movement.

We’re not exactly sure what this site will look like in 2, 5 or 10 years…

All we do know is that it’ll continue to reflect our mission and philosophy and thus be even better at helping you eliminate pain and flexibility or movement limitations so you can get the most out of LIFE.
